18-year-old Chayston Taylor surrendered to Metro Nashville SWAT Team negotiators Friday after pulling both a .357 pistol and his grandfather’s 16-gauge shotgun on his mother, Sharika Taylor, and her boyfriend, Phillip Hamilton. He reportedly told her she was going to die and he was going to “blow her brains out”. When Hamilton stated “never point a gun at your momma”, Chayston told him he had 5 rounds and he was going to fire them. Once Taylor barricaded himself in a bedroom and police resources arrived on-scene, the two victims were able to escape the home.

Metro Nashville Police found 23-year-old Allison ‘Allie’ Hutchinson sitting in the driver’s seat of her car as they responded to a traffic collision on March 13th. She smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Once given a breathalyzer, she blew a 0.204% BAC.
Drama queen pulls fire alarm at Play Dance Bar to get friend’s attention — Quenton Paul McSparren arrested
27-year-old Quenton Paul McSparren was jailed this weekend and now the felony charge of filing a false report after admitting to pulling a fire alarm in the middle of Play Dance Bar just before 1 a.m. Sunday, sending the crowded gay nightclub into a frenzy. McSparren says he was trying to signal for his friend to come back to the dance floor.
Stephanie Gilyard & Tashauna Wallace arrested after lovers’ quarrel that left Tupperware torn
39-year-old Stephanie Gilyard & her 31-year-old girlfriend Tashauna Patrice Wallace were both booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday after a brawl. Tashauna broke a Tupperware container and a picture, while Stephanie broke Tashauna’s face with her fists. Both have $1,000 bond, one of which has been posted.
Marine charged in assault of wife over baby crying — Aaron Burnette arrested
23-year-old Marine Aaron Burnette was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on an outstanding warrant from the weekend, charging him with the domestic assault and bodily injury of his wife, Chelsea Majors Burnette.
The victim says he shoved her to the ground while she was holding their child and punched her the head with a fist, leaving swelling, while on top of her. He then fled the scene.
Mother charged with assault & strangulation of her child, cops find her intoxicated & uncooperative — Jess Hager
37-year-old is free on a $10,000 bond after being charged with the felony assault and strangulation of her young child. After the assault, the juvenile got on his bicycle in West Nashville, flagged down a neighbor and asked to use a phone explaining he had just been assaulted by his mother when she tossed him to the ground, strangled him by the neck, assaulted him, all while telling him she wished she never had him.
The neighbor alerted police and got in touch with the child’s grandmother, and assisted him in getting to her residence, where police also arrived.
The grandmother stated this was not unusual, and the child often sought sanctuary at her home as his mother struggles to manage her life.
Man says she intentionally rammed vehicle into tree after drinking White Claw — Anthony Castiglia
25-year-old Anthony Castiglia was booked on a citation for DUI this week stemming from a December crash that sent him to the hospital. Court records show Castiglia told officers he intentionally rammed his vehicle into a tree on Ellison Place.

Officers found several consumed cans of White Claw in both the front and back seats of the vehicle. He was transported to Vanderbilt and admitted due to internal injuries.
