Jerry Mckiney was caught participating in hand-to-hand cocaine transaction

60-year-old Jerry McKiney was caught in a hand-to-hand cocaine transaction near Lafayette Street on February 28th. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed Mckiney placing a white substance into a folded dollar bill and placing it inside his pocket. Officers stopped Mckiney near Ewing Street and searched him. During the search, officers located a white rock-like substance. Mckiney admitted the substance was cocaine before officers sent it to be tested. The substance did test positive for cocaine and Mckinney was cited and booked for casual exchange or possession of the controlled substances.

Jerry Lee Mckiney was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 23rd, charged with simple possession. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
