31-year-old Sean McCann was speeding and swerving near Murfreesboro Pike and Donelson Pike on April 28th. Officers observed this, followed him, and conducted a traffic stop, where they noticed he showed signs of impairment, reeking of alcohol. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and then admitted to drinking 4-5 mixed cocktails at Rippy’s Bar. After being read implied consent, he agreed to provide a breath sample, resulting in 0.149 BAC%. During a subsequent search of his vehicle, officers located a handgun and baggies of marijuana in his backpack. McCann was taken into custody for driving under the influence, simple possession, and possession of a weapon while under the influence.
Sean C McCann of Inglewood Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 28th, charged with weapon under the influence and simple possession. He is free on a $3,000 bond.
